Volunteer: Join the Neutron Radiography Working Group

Neutron Radiography (NR) is one of ASNT’s 16 recognized methods, and changes in the technology over the past ten years have made NR more viable and accessible to the field since access to nuclear reactors to generate neutron particles is no longer required.

ASNT is seeking individuals to join a task-based working group of NR subject matter experts to new content and services that will serve to revitalize the method and body of knowledge. Projects will be identified and managed collaboratively with ASNT staff, and the working group will report to the Technical and Education Council.

Volunteer: Make Your Voice Heard on the Technician's Resource Development Committee!

Getting involved with an ASNT Committee is the best way to help contribute to ASNT's strategic agenda, not to mention a great way to network with likeminded NDT professionals. The Technician's Resource Development Committee (TRD) is seeking members to join and help support their goals.

The Technicians Resource Development Committee (TRD) supports the goals of ASNT by advancing content and program offerings aimed at Level I/II practitioners. The committee’s purpose is to advise, assist, and provide a platform for initiatives supporting the recruitment and retention of NDT technicians, including but not limited to outreach, publications, and education, collaborating with other ASNT councils and working groups, as needed, in order to achieve organizational objectives. Part of this scope includes support of the NDT Technician newsletter, which publishes articles on relevant ASNT activities, technician spotlights, and discussion of current and advanced NDT methods.
