The Certification Management Committee (CMC) plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of ASNT certification programs.
The CMC is seeking qualified individuals to serve three-year terms as full or associate members, contributing to one or more method subcommittees based on their expertise.
CMC members are responsible for actively participating in activities such as item writing, process reviews, developing valid and reliable examinations, and upholding confidentiality and security of the certification program enhancements. Members work collaboratively to develop and refine the exams, while also ensuring certification procedures align with industry needs.
CMC members are expected to attend scheduled CMC meetings or work sessions and participate, when necessary, in the balloting process.

The documents listed below are required to be submitted when applying for CMC membership. If any of the following documents are missing from the application, it will not be reviewed:

Current CMC Program Membership Needs
The CMC is seeking qualified subject matter experts for the following programs to support ASNT's mission:
ASNT 9712 Program
Individuals with familiarity of the requirements of ISO 9712, with current and active expertise in performing examinations and evaluations of products utilizing the following NDT methods:
- MT - Bench, Coils, and Yoke techniques
- PT - Water Washable, Post Emulsifiable, and Solvent Removable
- RT - X-Ray and Radioactive Isotope (RAM) techniques with Film or Digital interpretation
- UT - Straight, Angle, Phased Array, and Time of Flight Diffraction techniques
- VT - Direct and Remote techniques
ASNT Level III Program
Individuals with advanced expertise in training and procedure development in the following NDT methods: GW, MW, NR, IR, ET, VA, MFL, AE, PdM.
